After obtaining his law degree from LSU in 2001, Brian practiced law with the firm of Bergstedt & Mount until opening his own practice in 2007. In addition to the practice of law, Brian is an active member of the community serving on various boards, including the Coastal Plain Conservancy, the Southwest Louisiana Better Business Bureau, and the Calcasieu Area Council of the Boy Scouts of America.
Brian is a life-long resident of Southwest Louisiana growing up on a family farm in Beauregard Parish and presently living in the Grand Lake community in rural Cameron Parish. Brian and his wife, Julie, have three children: Hannah, Isaac, and Luke. Brian has a special interest in land management, conservation, and restoration working with family on prairie and marshland in Cameron Parish as well as long-leaf pine forest in Beauregard Parish. Brian enjoys all manner of outdoor activities and spends much of his spare time pursuing Southwest Louisiana's abundant fish and game.
